The Foundry, Long Island: Classic and Timeless Wedding

Air and Asher’s wedding at The Foundry in Long Island was breathtaking. The Foundry: a venue with over 3000 sqft of space, a lush outdoor courtyard, a rooftop terrace with views of the New York city skyline, a fully equipped commercial kitchen and simple, textural stylings was the perfect style for them! With all of the amazing elements of the venue intertwined into their their chic wedding decor it made for the best classic and timeless wedding day. Their entire wedding was so gorgeous, so chic and simple. One of my favorite parts of the wedding were the details, they made this wedding truly unique and totally theirs. Come see why this is one of my favorite wedding venues and why I can’t get this wedding day out of my head.

Classic and Timeless Wedding Day at The Foundry in Long Island City

Simply put, it was absolutely amazing to document their wedding day! Air and Asher met 9 years ago in Israel. Asher is an architect which, of course, led him to choose The Foundry, because how could he not! Its raw and authentic style, minimal and textural elements matched exactly what they were going for! Honest and simple, but elegant! We started off the day with the bride and groom getting ready at the venue. Air looked radiant in her all white gown with Prada heels, and Asher perfectly complimented her with his cream colored coat and black bowtie! It was perfection.

They both shared first looks with their bridesmaids and groomsmen! Afterwards, they shared an emotional first look with each other on the rooftop terrace. The stunning skyline views paired with the greenery from the terrace was everything! Afterwards, the couples refined taste and eye for amazing detail was on full display! The table placements, all white table flowers, and the little pop of green illuminated their simple yet timeless choices.

Once their dreamy wedding ceremony and cocktail hour concluded, everyone went outside to enjoy an intimate family style candlelit dinner. Afterwards, they indulged in some delicious ice cream from Amy’s Ice Cream for dessert! I even got to try some and to say it was the best ice cream I have ever had is a drastic understatement. Towards the end of the night, I made sure to capture the moments that truly illustrated why this is one of my favorite venues in New York: the architecture and the views! And to top off an incredible day, the sunset came out to play. The New York City skyline paired with the sunset colors felt like it was straight out of a movie! This day was truly so beautiful and intentional.
