Nicole + Albert’s Soho engagement session took place early one morning in the spring and we had such a blast. The sky was overcast and it even rained a bit, but of course it just added to the overall grit and NYC grunge we all love so much. I’m so excited to document this amazing couple’s wedding next year!
We started the shoot at Overthrow Boxing Club, for some neon moments and then made our way over to Crosby Street. There’s nothing like the colors and textures of these old NYC buildings. There are so many amazing locations in NYC for engagement photos. But if you’re interested in variety – Soho is definitely a great spot. In Soho we’re able to get shots with graffiti art, cobblestone streets, classic old colorful buildings, as well as a modern chic look in the shopping district.
We took some adorable photos with their pup, Ayden – yes he has his own Instagram page! After stopping for a coffee at Butler, we made our way over to a local basketball court where they could play a bit of one-on-one. Albert has a passion for sneakers so for this session he had custom Nike x Drake AF1 Love You Forever sneakers made featuring their names and wedding date. I mean, how amazing is that?
